Scottish Canals Volunteering Opportunity ~ Litter Picking

DescriptionCan you spare a few hours or more a month picking litter from our towpaths?  This task is one of our biggest challenges but we are conquering.  You can help.  This task can be carried out as an individual or a large group.

LocationLowlands Canals – Union, Forth& Clyde and Monkland’s

TaskUsing litter picks, you will collect discarded rubbish from the towpaths and water channel and place into bags.

Time Commitment

This is a flexible role, which can be carried out as a self-supervising activity.  Full training will be given to allow this task to be carried out safely.    We also arrange large group sessions which you can join
